Grandmas Plus Hotel ★★

Grand Mas Hotel was absolutely a gem to stay at. It was like a little lot of luxury tucked away for a budget friendly price. The staff was amazing as I arrived at like 6 am from the airport and they prechecked me in so when the room was ready, I could get the keys, In the meantime they stored my bags while I hung out by the pool. The pool was small but lovely, and you can order from the restaurant by the pool if you wish. The restaurant was defiantly a high point. After busy day activities it was nice to be able to stay right next to the hotel and get food. The ambiance was wonderful as well were the servers. They had live music most nights singing western music mostly. (you can hear them from the rooms, till a quarter past 10 pm, but it didn't bother me). The room was small, but quaint and everything I needed. The AC worked very well and since it was a small space it cooled the room down quickly. The bed was firm, but comfortable and the pillows were the perfect amount of plush and squishy. They had elevators or stairs as options and even offered morning activist (though I never took part). In the room, there was a lock box that could hold a lot for your valuables. It held my laptop, camera, money, documents etc. and you can set it to your own personal code. In the room they have two bottles of water that are sealed that can be used to drink or used for teeth brushing etc. As for proximity, the location was great, to the left is the main Seminyak street full of shops and markets. It can be a bit overwhelming if you are a sensory person, but you will grow used to the chaotic shops and streets. Lastly, they have a place for your tai to park so they have time to help you with your baggage. I highly recommend this for families, solo travel, or anyone who is happy with simple but nice accommodation.

The only things that I could take note on for being a little bit wrong. The shower couldn't produce hot water to save its life. (I never complained about it) as outside is a literal sauna, so look cool showers were more refreshing that a bother. The shower door was a bit slippery, but just be aware.

The hotels location is very good, both close to the beach and restaurants. The rooms have 1 twinbed and a bathroom the size is as they told -I guess 14 m2- but 2 luggages maybe hard to fix in the room. Breakfast was very delicious and staff was helpful about anything. Facilities such as pool and restaurant was very nice, evening music is actually pretty good. We travelled as a family and starting from the beginning the staff helped us a lot about any issue, check out times, info about the Seminyak so on. Also spa center at the 5th floor was a good choice for us as well, regarding the value for money the hotel is a good choice. We were pleased by the staff's interest and good intention.

The Hotel is a busy one, so the towels and some items such as got older in time but only a small issue.

Really impressed with the staff here and how helpful and accommodating they were, especially Era on reception and Katut on security Lovely clean rooms, compact, but with everything you need. The spa on-site is awesome, too!! I spent 3 hours there. Oh, and make sure you go to the gelato store just at the hotel entrance at least once a day. Dian is super lively and funny too. Great value and location.

Our first room was close to the restaurant and they have live music from 7-11pm. The staff were fantastic and moved us, so make sure you check your room location if you are a light sleeper.

The rooms are small with tiny windows (first room we were given had no window at all). Could have been cleaner. The Wi-Fi did not work. The pool was closed for construction. The bar next door plays very loud music until late. Construction round the pool started early with loud banging. Key card to room stopped working at 11.30 even though check out was at 12. Ugly concrete building. Door to the room was difficult to lose properly (had to force it shut). Would not recommend - we were meant to stay 2 nights but we left after one.

I was pleasantly surprised by grandMas hotel as I didn't have high expectations for it as the property was very affordable and budgeted when I came across it on Booking.com The hotel is a 5- minute walk away from Double 6 beach. There is a small lane that provides a shortcut route to Potato head and other beach clubs.The in-house Spa was very good, we really enjoyed all our treatments there which is discounted for hotel guests between 6-9 PM The icing on the cake was the last day, We had a flight at 2120 in the evening and wanted to head to Potato head beach club to laze around and enjoy the day. GrandMas not only let us leave our baggage there after check out at 1 PM but also let us come back in the evening and use one of their rooms to take a shower. We expected them to charge us for this service however they said It would be absolutely free. That was a very kind and warm gesture on their path. Also, the property provided very efficient service to get bikes rented and arranged for a taxi drop off to the airport.

The rooms are small hence not a lot of baggage space. The music from the club next door plays loud music that can be heard in the room, however, am guessing that no one goes to Seminyak to sleep early before midnight. The pool was under maintenance during most of our stay.

there were some bugs in my friend's room, and the lock in my first room was broken, we got to change room immediately, which was good, but the staff could have checked that sooner

The staff were wonderful

The towels were OLD and tatty, rooms were too small, no warm water to shower. Pool area was under construction. No space in the rooms for a toddler so they shouldn’t be booked for 2 adults and a child!! Impossible to fit in comfortably with luggage and pram.

-- I was surprised how quiet it was despite being right on the main road. Only noise was from the bands playing during happy hour at the bar, but didn't really bother me. -- Friendly staff -- Great location -- Room was very hip and nice for the low price -- Clean and modern

I was disappointed by the pool. I pictured it very differently from the photos. It's wedged between reception and the restaurant in a dark corner - not very inviting. They also closed it without any advance notice for part of the time that I was there.

The bed was very comfortable. Staff was very helpful and friendly. I had a ton of baggage that they stored for me until it was my checkin time, and then promptly brought the items to my room after I checked in. Also, the spa is really nice. I had the best massage!

Everything was amazing in this hotel. Especially staff! They were always smile and respect to us. Thanks for Ms.Ani, she was so kind to us when we were checking out. Hope to see you again Grandmas Hotel!

It was not wardrobe in the room.

Great location, few minutes from the beach. Complimentary hospitality room that we needed as our flight was late at night ;) The staff was really amazing.

For low cost accomodations this property is terrific. Friendly helpful staff (they even helped me order McDonald's delivery after a late night out), clean pop arty rooms that are perfect if you're planning to only sleep there.

The noise at night from the band downstairs carried on quite loudly until late in the night.
